My Mother s Wedding Day - 1332 Words

I, Joey Wang, a 15 year old boy, woke up from bed one morning. I got out of bed and slipped on my usual Saturday lounge clothes of sweatpants and a T-Shirt. I was about to head downstairs when I remembered it was my mother s, Sarah Wang’s, wedding day. I quickly got changed into nicer clothes and went downstairs for breakfast. I started to get myself some cereal, but realized I should probably make something more special for my mother s wedding day. I decided to made two ham and cheese omelets, for the only two people who lived in this house were him and his mother. His mother came downstairs with an excited look on her face. Hey Mom, do you want an omelet? I asked her happily. Yes I do! Thank you so much for making us some omelets! My mom answered cheerfully. My mom and I sat down at the small table and began to eat our omelets. Once we were done with our omelets we started to finish getting ready for the day. I walked into the small, bright colored bathroom and brushed my te eth and combed my hair. Since the wedding wasn t until twelve o clock I decided to wait around until then. Finally it came time for us to go to the wedding. My mom and I got into the tiny, cramped, baby blue colored car that my mom owned and drove to the nearest church, St. Anthony s Catholic Church. Once we got there we entered the building, and I was directed to one of the seats. I waited for a little while, then I saw my Grandmother on my walk down the aisle.Show MoreRelatedSummary Of A Memoir Of Survival 1352 Words   |  6 Pagesmeant to be lived with simplistic beauty and gratitude.
